MODULARUNION

Modular Union was created in early 2003 by Joe Hinton and his business partner through their company, Object Red Interactive. It answered a practical need for advertising agencies: a website platform they could offer under their own brands, with tools that let clients manage their content without breaking the design.

The platform brought together two distinct tools: a builder that gave agencies control over a website’s structure and design, and a simple editing interface that let their clients manage the content. Business owners could add, edit, and remove information confidently, without worrying about breaking their websites. Agencies kept their branding and customer relationships. Modular Union worked behind the scenes.

From 2003 to 2023, we had the pleasure of helping agencies serve their clients and businesses take care of their own websites. For twenty years, we built, improved, listened, and learned alongside the people who trusted our work.

We’re proud of the software we created. We’re even prouder that it became part of other people’s working lives: something they could use, understand, and rely on.
